Born in 1 959 in Bydgoszcz. Studied workshop graphic arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Mikotaj Kopernik University in Torun. Graduated with honours in 1985. Since then has been working in the Graphic Unit of that University, where he is the head of the lithograph atelier. Since 2003 holds the post of a professor. Participated in artistic internships: at the Greifswald University (1989) and a monthly internship twice (1985, 1988) in the lithography atelier at the Faculty of Graphics Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Received grants: from Kujawsko-Pomorskie Cultural Society (1988); from the Minister of Culture and Art (1988); from the President of the City of Bydgoszcz (1996). Altogether, he participated in 320 exhibitions, in this 28 individual ones. He is a permanent member of international, Polish and society exhibitions.
