Born in 1958. In 1982 graduated from The Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Wrocław, Poland), in the field of graphic design and printmaking. In 1981 he was employed as Assistant professor in the studio of lithography at home academy. Since 1999 a head of the studio of lithography. He is a curator of the International Drawing Competition in Wrocław. Works in printmaking, drawing and painting.
He received 3rd prize in the National Young Art Biennial "The Road and the Truth" in Wrocław (1985); 3rd prize in the Józef Gielniak International Print Competition in Jelenia Góra (1989),
the Prize of the President of Pilsen in the 5th International Drawing Biennial in Pilsen,
Czech Republic (2006). Received a scholarship of the Ministry of Culture and Art in the Academy of Fine Arts in Bratislava (1989) and from the USA Department of State in the Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque in New Mexico in the USA (1990).
Has shown 25 solo exhibitions, among others: „Lithography” Galleri Hoernan - with Jacek Szewczyk, Falun, Sweden (2001); „Drawing”, Nowa Oficyna Gallery, Gdańsk (2006);

He participated in more than 150 print and drawing exhibitions in Poland and abroad, among others, "Arsenal 88" in Warsaw (1988), "Polish Lithography since 1900", organized by the National Museum in Kraków (1994); "Plzen in Pilsen", John Mooney Foundation, Chicago, Illinois, USA (2007); Impact 5 International Print Conference "Slices of Time", "Trans_Graphic Polish Prints", exhibition of the Impact 5, Tallinn, Estonia (2007); 1st Kulisiewicz International Graphic Arts Triennial in Warsaw Imprint 2008; International Print Triennial Kraków 2009; 6th and 7th Polish Print Triennial in Katowice (2006, 2009); initiator and curator of the exhibition "2008 Polish Printmaking, Art & Education", accompanying the International Print Triennial in Kraków (2009);
