Aleksandra Janik graduated with honours from the Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, having received a diploma from the Printmaking Studio of Prof. Halina Pawlikowska in 1996. In 1996/97 she was the DAAD grant holder at the Braunschweig University of Art in Germany.
Since 2010 she has held the position of associate professor at the Faculty of Graphic and Media Art in the Academy, where she is currently Head of the Studio of Digital and Experimental Printmaking.
She specializes in printmaking, photography and graphic design.
