self-commentary

I am a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland – Faculty of Graphic Arts (Master of Fine Arts degree,). My diploma is a cycle of 9 graphics made in litography technique. Te title of my diploma works is On the other side of reality. When the imagination ends and intuition begins in creative work. In my diploma I consider the essence of the artwork by some sort of awareness. I was motivated by the theory of Umberto Eco in Absent Structure: „Te essence of works of art appear to recipients as pure presence, pure reality before or the afer addition to realizing recipients". My research interests and artistic practice are somewhere between the areas of human's perception, especially the internal visual aspects of perception and interpretation of our reality. I am exploring how we perceive our imagination. Temes between our conscious and unconscious. In general, my works present a visual expression of our dreams and imagination. I am also focus on intuition in the creative work. My diploma may attempt to noticing the phenomenon of unconscious to the creative work, in which may be seen my art inspirations.
