Title: Immigrating.

The project consists of 7 big scale prints showing different characters. These are the heroes whos stories I gathered. Stories about emigration, about travel, about longing, about dislocation. The history of uncertain, shivering, undefined identity.

Title: Diaspora

Meeting Ali marked the beginning of my interest in the subject of migration. I asked him to present the worst emotions associated with sea crossing from Africa towards Europe. He gave me a fast made sketch which is built with circle, repeatitive gesture. As a result I did a 70-hours performative drawing, which reflects the time he spent on a ballon boat while crossing the sea.
