The main part of the artistic diploma "Sensualism" was made in photographic technique. It consists of 12 original photographs. The choice of this technique was obvious, it allows us to look again at the world around us and show it in a different, non-obvious and surprising way.
The subject of the work was a man, and in particular his senses. The human body is a detailed information carrier about its owner. It is amazing how much the human body differs from each other, how much uniqueness can be found by looking closer to the structure of the body. The fascinating element of the human body is undoubtedly his senses, which are very abstract to us.
We have been equipped with organs and they appear in the presented series of photographs. They have been illustrated in such a way that they create as abstract arrangements as possible, comparable to what the senses really are - an abstract form.
This effect was obtained by combining two analogous photographs, which results in an abstract image with the axis of symmetry in the center. Kards at first glance seem to be symmetrical, they give the impression that one, the same photograph has been used for their creation, but if we devote more time to them, it will turn out that in the paintings we can find signs of asymmetry. The impression of symmetry was obtained by combining two closely related shots, which makes the image both symmetrical at the same time and asymmetrical in detail. This is due to the fact that the human body is able to look like that in only one fraction of a second, while in the next second it presents itself differently, which makes it unimaginably unique. The combination of one image would give the effect of an unnatural reflection, which would arouse opposition to the existence of the human body, which in its essence is something natural.
The photographs were taken in black and white. The goal of this surgery was to create a subtle mysterious mood. The monochrome of photography makes the image more eye-catching, because every day our eyes are accustomed to the colorful world. It also allows us to focus our eyes on structures and invoices. Black and white photography causes that the card is becoming more graphic, which in a sophisticated manner emphasizes abstractness.
