biography
born in 1993.
In 2019 she graduated graphic art at the University of Arts in Poznan and defended her master’s diploma in the studio of prof. dr hab. Piotr Szurek, Department of Graphics and Visual Communication.
As a form of artistic expression, I mainly use metal techniques, especially etching. I create narration and graphic matter by using a simple gesture and sign. Expression, emotionality, and ephemeral states that are saving on the surface of the metal matrix are important in my work.
The subject of my works is usually personal, about identity and internal states.
She took part in 6 collective exhibitions and one individual.
self-commentary
These intaglio graphics are an attempt to consolidate experiences and emotions on a metal matrix. Every volatile gesture is important. Next, the process is fixed by digesting the metal plate in the acid. Some of the graphics have been made in a way that the end of the process is clear - some of the experiences have been experienced and their stage is completed, while the others are in a continuous process.
The plates can be digested multiple times because of multiplying of experiences. Graphics look like they were made with one multiply gesture, but every work is different - more expressive or more meditative.
The technique of etching allows creating gestures that could be fixed by digestion in the acid at various intensities. From distance, works appear as a matter, but in the close up every single detail is visible - a gesture that was expressed through the process of each emotion, each experience.
